Job: Squire - House TsukiyomiBorn to a pair Coetheran citizens, his father a house guard and his mother an upstairs maid of a smaller house under Durendaire’s banner, Arcant’s childhood was spent as many others were in similar situations. Either helping as a kitchen boy or assisting with the maintenance of the guard’s equipment. It wasn’t until his pre-teen years that the youth took a proper interest in the martial skills of his father and what went into such work, but such things were short lived as the interest in such and a heavy dose of wanderlust saw Arcant strike out upon his own.
His wanderlust saw him trek through the boughs of The Shroud, to the blasted lands of Thanalan and even the verdant hills of Vylbrand. But his wandering hadn’t ceased even during the events of the calamity, with the youth finding himself not involved with the conflict against the Garleans but instead helping those in need in the days after to rebuild. Even during those days, he found himself always on the move; never truly settling in one place for more than a season before leaving again.
Through the years he also continued to learn his martial craft, focusing on the methodologies of sword and shield but also attempts to shape his aether into his weapons. The first attempts leaving him all but drained of his aether, but over time saw him hon his ability and infuse the steel of his weapons with his intent and element of choice.
His wandering has finally led him back to his land of birth, a return to Coethras and even entrance to Ishgard proper. He finds himself plying his trade for houses and merchants alike.Upon his return to Ishgard, there was moments of doubt when returning to his boyhood house. His father having continued the work as a armsman for the house he'd grown up in, advice given before sending the man back into the cold of Ishgard to forge his path.His enterance into service of House Tsukiyomi was a rather mundane series of happenstances starting with an introduction while being seen to by the Lady's medical staff.The oath a rather simple event in the cathedral before her and the sitting knight commander.
